The “Lotos Poland” program is an important part of our charitable activities. Its aim is to support the monks at the Benchen Monastery in Kathmandu. The name of this program was given by Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche.

The monthly cost of supporting one monk is just under two hundred złotys. Donations are not assigned to specific individuals but go towards the upkeeping of the entire monastery. Through Lotos one can make a monthly contribution, thereby supporting all the monks. It is also possible to pledge any other monthly amount, according to one’s capabilities.

The monks are informed about who their sponsors are and, in a special way, dedicate the merit from their practice to their benefactors. In this way, personal bonds are formed between the monks and the lay community that supports them.
