3-5 July 2026

The Kagyu Monlam in Grabnik is part of the International Kagyu Monlam held under the guidance of His Holiness the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa. It is also a well-established tradition to invite one of the Rinpoches of the Karma Kagyu school as the main lama leading a given Monlam. In Grabnik, the Kagyu Monlam has been led twice by Drubwang Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche, twice by Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche, and seven times by the Venerable Sangter Rinpoche. The prayers are usually also attended by khenpos and lamas from Benchen Monastery in Nepal, as well as European lamas.
This year’s Kagyu Monlam will be led by the Venerable Sangter Tulku Rinpoche, along with a Khenpo and a Dorje Lopon from Benchen Monastery.
On Saturday, 4th of July, Venerable Sangter Rinpoche will bestow Guru Rinpoche Empowerment with long life blessing.
