Dorje Phurba practice

Led by: If Sangter Rinpoche is already in Poland at that time, he will confer the empowerment and lead the practice. If he has not yet arrived, the practice will be led by Lama Rinchen.

Seminar begins on Thursday at 10:00 am, ends on Sunday around 5:00 pm.

Receiving the empowerment is required in order to participate in this seminar.

Dorje Phurba empowerment will be given on Thursday at 10:00 am

Dorje Phurba (Sanskrit: Vajrakilaya) is a wrathful Yidam which embodies the Buddha’s activity of overcoming hatred, desire, pride, jealousy, and ignorance, as well as the suffering resulting from actions driven by these states. It is believed that in these times of wars, natural disasters, and ever-emerging diseases, the blessing of this practice is a powerful means of preventing further proliferation of suffering.

Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche advised several times that after completing the temple in Grabnik, intensive Dorje Phurba practices, known as drubchen, should be conducted there. Rinpoche said this would bring great blessings both to the place itself and to the entire region in which we live.

This year’s practice will begin a gradual introduction to the Dorje Phurba tradition. All the deeper levels and aspects of this elaborate practice can only be understood and performed after completing the preliminary practices (ngondro). However, the basic version of this meditation can be practised by those who have confidence in these methods and who have received the complete transmission (empowerment, oral instructions, and lung) from a Lama.

Registration

Registration deadline (and prepayment for meals) – till the 28th of May.

Registration can be completed by using the REGISTRATION FORM. Please fill in the form also for any accompanying person not participating in the sessions.

All changes considering your stay should be submitted at least three days in advance.

Suggested donations

Our Buddhist Centre in Grabnik is maintained exclusively by donations, therefore each, even very symbolic, amount offered money is important and appreciated. Those who would like to support us, may do the donations via transfer to our bank account or with a use of a debit card (see: donate) or in cash at the Centre.

Prepayment is not equivalent to registering for the seminar. Please remember to register!
We are not able to guarantee meals to those arriving unannounced.

– Meals are served at fixed hours (breakfast at 8:00 a.m., lunch at 1:00 p.m. and dinner at 6:00 p.m.).
– Please think your order through. There are no returns for ordered and not used meals, unless a resignation is submitted three days in advance.
