Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche's Yangsi will be welcomed back to Benchen Monastery, Kathmandu, Nepal in w very simple ceremony. Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche's Yangsi was recognized by H.H. Gyalwang Karmapa Orgyen Trinle Dorje. This ceremony will be presided over by H.E. Drubwang Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche.
H.H. Gyalwang Karmapa Orgyen Trinle Dorje advised that this symbolic welcoming ceremony should be a very brief one. H.H. Karmapa also advised that Yangsi Rinpoche should not give blessings for the audiences until Yangsi Rinpoche reaches the age of seven.
Therefore, we humbly request all the associated monasteries, Dharma centers and Benchen centers not to send any representatives for the occasion. Even Benchen Monastery is only planning to make a symbolic mandala offering along with the Body, Speech and Mind offering.
The date for the hair-cutting ceremony and the enthronement for Yangsi Rinpoche will only be decided upon, after a consultation between H.H. Gyalwang Karmapa Orgyen Trinle Dorje and H.E. Drubwang Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche when Yangsi Rinpoche is above the age of seven.
