On Monday, the 15th of October 2018, His Holiness the Seventeenth Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorje offered a private audience to the representatives of the organizing committee of the visit of HH Karmapa to Poland. The meeting was attended by: Tomasz Szczygielski, Lama Rinchen, Adam Kozieł, Beata and Dariusz Deitner.
Having offered the traditional auspicious offerings, the guests renewed the invitation for His Holiness to Poland. The Karmapa accepted the invitation and promised that he would definitely visit our country. The exact date of the visit, for the time being, could not have been set by His Holiness. However, we should be informed of the date about a half a year in advance to be able to prepare properly.
During the meeting, which lasted several hours, discussions took place around the general situation of the Karma Kagyu lineage and the development of Dharma in the West, including Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. His Holiness offered many valuable advice and tips which will guide us in our further work for the benefit of others.
