PROGRAMME
Detailed schedule of daily sessions is available here.
Kagyu Monlam Poland is a part of an international Kagyu Monlam led under the guidance of His Holiness the 17th Gjalwang Karmapa. International Kagyu Monlam Committee annually delegates Umdze to lead the prayers as well as monks to prepare tormas. Every year one Rinpoche from Karma Kagyu tradition is invited to lead Kagyu Monlam as a main Lama. In Grabnik it was two Times Drubwang Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche, two times Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche and six times Venerable Sangter Rinpoche. Khenpos and Lamas from Benchen Monastery in Nepal and European lamas take part in the prayers as well.
This year, due to the epidemic, guests from Asia are not able to arrive. The amount of people allowed to be in the Centre in Grabnik also must be limited. Nevertheless, His Eminence Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche has advised to continue the practice of Kagyu Monlam even in the small group. Rinpoche said that continuation of annual Monlam was crucial.
The 11th Kagyu Monlam will be led by Lama Rinchen.
The number of people allowed to be in the temple will be limited (no more than 50 people, providing the situation as well as the regulations in Poland will not change).
Due to the epidemic, we are not able to offer accommodation. All those who want to participate arriving daily to Grabnik, should register by filling in our registration form. We will confirm individually if attendance is possible, depending on the number of applications.
The ceremonies will be streamed publicly, so everyone will be able to join the prayers. The character of Monlam will also be changed, adjusted to current circumstances. The first session will start after breakfast and there will not be sojong vows.
REGISTRATION
This year Monlam will be streamed publicly - transmission will be available for everyone on our YouTube channel.
Those who want to participate arriving daily to Grabnik are asked to fill in our registration form till the 23rd of August the latest. We will confirm individually if attendance is possible depending on the number of applications.
