4-5 April 2020 (weekend)

Led by Lama Rinchen.

Seminar begins on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. and ends on Sunday at about 4:30 p.m.

During the seminar we will be introduced into the basic Buddhist teachings. After the explanations on the Refuge in Three Jewels and the meaning of ethical self-discipline, we will be instructed on how to enter the Boddhisatva path. After Chenrezig empowerment, introduction into Chenrezig meditation in Vajrayana style has been planned.

Chenrezig empowerment - Sunday at 10 a.m.

Chenrezig (in Sanskrit: Avalokiteshvara) is the embodiment of all Buddha’s compassion. Buddha Shakyamuni conveyed the teachings on Chenrezig in many sutras and tantras. Practice of Chenrezig and repetition of six-syllable mantra OM MANI PEME HUNG is the most spread form of meditation in majority of Buddhist schools in Mahayana tradition, especially in Tibetan Buddhism.

Throughout the seminar we will also chant the Chenrezing Puja and receive explanations on this practice.
