1-5 May 2019 (5 days)
Led by: Lama Rinchen.
To participate in the seminar the Gonkar empowerment is required.
The empowerment will be given on the 1st of May at 10:30 a.m. Next days there will be two sessions per day: 9:30. a.m. and 2:45 p.m. Seminar ends on Sunday at about 12 p.m.
The Gonkar, also called the White Mahakala, is an emanation of the black Six-Armed Mahakala. This deity embodies the pacifying and increasing activity of all Buddhas. Realizing the perfect fulfilment of this practice, means to achieve the perfect Buddhahood. On a mundane level, the White Mahakala practice increases life forces and longevity, multiplies merit and wisdom, and enhances prosperity. Therefore Gonkar is known as the Yishin Norbu - the Wish-Fulfilling Jewel.
The Gonkar practice derives from the Shangpa Kagyu tradition. The blessing of Gonkar drubpa - an extensive White Mahakala ritual - brings benefit not only to the participants of the puja, but also to everyone who has positive connections with them.
