1-3 May 2020 (3 days) - non-public streaming
Led by: Lama Rinchen.
There will be two sessions of puja daily: at 9:30a.m. and 2:30p.m.
We start on Friday, the 1st of May at 9:30a.m. and finish on Sunday, the 3rd of May at about 4:30p.m.
The Gonkar practice derives from the Shangpa Kagyu tradition. Gonkar, also called the White Protector (Mahakala), embodies the pacifying and increasing activity of all Buddhas. Realizing the perfect fulfilment of this practice, means to achieve the perfect Buddhahood. On a mundane level, White Mahakala practice increases life forces and longevity, multiplies merit and wisdom, and enhances prosperity. Therefore, Gonkar is known as the Yishin Norbu - the Wish-Fulfilling Jewel.
In order to take active part in the practice (recitation combined with meditation on Gonkar) it is necessary to have received full transmission: empowerment, oral instruction and lung.
Those who would like to contribute, but due to that reasons are not able to take active part, are welcome to make a donation for the materials we need during the ritual (rice for the offering bowls, oats for tormas, butter for ornaments, tealights, incense, products for tsok). Thanks to all these activities we accumulate merit and receive the same blessing of Gonkar as those who take active part in the practice. Blessing of Gonkar Drubpa - elaborated ritual of White Mahakala - benefits not only the participants of the puja, but also all who have positive bounds with them.
Since bigger gatherings are not possible because of current situation, this year practice will look a bit different than usual. Only the inhabitants of the Centre will be present in the puja in Grabnik and the ritual will be less elaborated, adjusted to the limited number of participants (e.g. there will be no full range of instruments). Nevertheless, for the blessing, merit and wisdom, no distance makes a difference. When we do not have any other choice and take part in a practice remotely, we will have the same benefits as if we were in the same place. Therefore, those who had received full transmission before, may take part in the practice through online streaming.
Registration deadline – till the 30th of April.
Because of non-public character of the seminar, broadcast will be available only for those who receive direct link to the event.
Those who have all the necessary transmissions and would like to participate in the puja online, please use our registration form. Direct link to the broadcast will be sent to the email address given during registration.
One day - 50 PLN
Full seminar (3 days) - 150 PLN
