1-7 August 2022 (7 days)

Led by Lama Rinchen.

Seminar begins on Monday at 10:30 a.m. and ends on Sunday at about 5:00 p.m.

There will be four sessions per day.
To participate in the teachings on sadhana, it is necessary to have received Kunchok Chidu empowerment. Guru Rinpoche Kunchok Chidu empowerment will take place on Monday the 1st of August at 10:30 a.m.

Kunchok Chidu, that is "The Essence of the Three Jewels", is probably one of the most often performed Guru Rinpoche practices both in Nyingma and Kagyu traditions. In Benchen monastery in Kathmandu this practice has been performed by a group of monks daily for many years, regardless of other activities in the monastery. Also the Benchen Lamas, after their three-year-retreat, stay in drubkhang for extra few-month Kunchok Chidu retreat.

This practice is enormously beneficial and brings comprehensive results.

The Kunchok Chidu Sadhana is a terma from terton Jatsyn Nyingpo. It includes all stages of practice –  outer, inner, secret and the innermost secret – that’s why it is practised in a full extend after finishing preliminary practices – Ngöndro. Nevertheless, to recite the puja and practise the main parts of the meditation, to receive the Kunchok Chidu empowerment is a sufficient condition.

The first day of practice will begin with empowerment. On other days, the first session will take place at 7:00 a.m. We are going to recite the long Kunchok Chidu puja in parts, in four sessions per day. Practice will be combined with gradual instructions to the practise.
