19-20 October 2019 (weekend)
Led by: Lama Rinchen.
Seminar begins on Saturday at 10:30 am and ends on Sunday at about 4:30 pm. Medicine Buddha empowerment - Saturday 19 October at 10:30 a.m.
Usually in autumn the extended White Tara ritual is performed at the Center in Grabnik and dedicated to the long life of Dharma teachers. This year it will be replaced by the practice of Medicine Buddha and accumulating Medicine Buddha mantra for the health and long life of all lineage lamas and especially of Drubwang Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche. As we have previously informed, students from around the world connected with Benchen Monastery are planning to collect at least 100 million repetitions of this mantra.
Medicine Buddha practice (tib.: Sangye Menla) belongs to the tradition of the highest Buddhist tantras and, in its ultimate result, leads to Buddhahood. Nevertheless, before we achieve this aim, it purifies negative karma which manifests in the form of suffering and diseases.
During this seminar the main focus will be on sadhana practice and accumulating as many as possible mantras. Everyone can join in accumulating the mantra: TEYATHA OM BEKANDSE BEKANDSE MAHA BEKANDSE RADSA SAMUTGATE SOHA.
Please remember to note down the number of repeated mantras and leave this information in the Office before you leave.
Please register as early as possible, by the 14th of October at the very latest.
Registration can be completed using the registration form. Please fill in the form also for any accompanying person not participating in the sessions (child and adult).
All changes considering your stay should be submitted at least three days in advance. If you want to receive meals, please make a donation in advance.
Due to the unique nature of these prayers, we would like to make attendance available to everyone. Those actively participating in the practice will not be required to pay any specific fee. However, please register for the course before the 14th of October.
All the optional donations for covering own or other participants’ costs of accommodation and food are mostly welcome.
It is said: "Those who meditate and those who support their practice with generosity, are on the path together and both will achieve the Enlightenment".
The accompanying people are asked to make standard donations (stay in the Centre - 15 PLN, breakfast – 10 PLN, lunch - 13 PLN, dinner – 10 PLN).
All meals are vegetarian.
For those who take an active part in the practice and have registered on time, the meals are free.
