27-28 March 2021 (weekend) - non-public streaming
Led by: Lama Rinchen.
Detailed schedule: Saturday and Sunday at 10:30-11:30 a.m., 12:00-1:00 p.m., 2:30-3:30 p.m. and 4:00-5:00 p.m.
One of the great forefathers of Kagyu Lineage, Deshieg Phagmo Drubpa, recommended his disciples to combine mahamudra practice with skillful methods covered in five points. One of his main disciples, Drikung Kyobpa Jigten Sumgon, composed a famous text describing those methods. The teachings prepare beginners for authentic meditation on the ultimate nature of mind. For those who are already able to settle their minds in the ultimate nature, the five points of mahamudra practice enable them to deepen and stabilize their achievement. Advanced practitioners, thanks to those methods, extend their experience of mahamudra to all aspects of life.
This particular way of practice in five points turned out to be so exceptionally efficient that soon not only Drikhung Kagyu lamas did practice it, but also lamas of other Kagyu schools and other traditions. In Karma Kamtsang Lineage it is one of the main ways of practicing mahamudra.
