26-27 June 2021 (weekend) - non-public streaming

PROGRAMMEREGISTRATIONSUGGESTED DONATIONS

PROGRAMME

Led by: Lama Rinchen.

Detailed schedule: Saturday and Sunday at 10:30-11:30 a.m., 12:00-1:00 p.m., 2:30-3:30 p.m. and 4:00-5:00 p.m.

Taking Refuge is a gate enabling access to the whole Dharma. Whatever teachings you want to follow, first you must take Refuge. It's also the basis for taking all levels of vows: ethical vows, Bodhisattva vows and Vajrayana samaya vows (this means for receiving abhisheka in Vajrayana). Buddha did not allow to bestow any vows upon anyone who had not taken Refuge. On the other hand, it is said that Refuge is the source of all good qualities we develop on the path. This is why studying the teachings about Refuge is crucially important for us.

During the coming seminar we are going to get familiar with vast explanations of Refuge based on the classical commentary by Khenpo Kyntu Palden, who wrote down the words of the great Patrul Rinpoche.
